This might come as a surprise to some of you, but I completely agree with the statement above. It is simply objectively true, and it's easy to explain.
You hear it all the time. No one who says it really knows what it means, I don't think. But it gets said nonetheless.
In fact, you probably know at least one person who keeps this phrase on repeat in their head and sprinkles it into every conversation they have about money.
Let me explain why it's true:
The same mindset that makes people rich will also make them richer.
The same mindset that makes people poor will also make them poorer.
The way you view the world is critical to your success and should not be underestimated.
If you believe you don't stand a chance at that raise... you "can't" pay back your student loans... you "can't" make money if you don't start with a lot of money... you "can't" make enough to live comfortably and give generously...
Then you probably won't.
It's always more comfortable to assign the responsibility of your outcome to someone/something else.
But comfort never did great things.
Meanwhile, if you believe you CAN educate yourself thoroughly, work diligently and consistently, focus like crazy, and endure failures... well, YOU WILL. And guess what comes with all of that. MONEY.
What do you think?
Or should I ask "how do you think"?
